I mean, at this point it’s pretty much moot, what with only a handful of like 49-ish games remaining.

I’m wondering, and don’t skin me for this, if the time is right for the Sharks to maybe step in and buy low on MichFRAUD? Sure, he has the defensive awareness of an English Muffin, and he’s a glorified albino Smurf on skates, but he could take Goodrow’s place on the 3rd line and be just as minus as him, maybe even more minus. Maybe we take a flier (pun intended, you’re welcome, you can use that one) on him? And maybe Warso can squeeze some potential out of him, even tho he's almost 30yrs old and Flyers have almost certainly given up on him after this stretch (and their current roster), and will totally go full Sabres by the deadline.

Sharks: Goodrow, Pohlkamp, 2025 2nd (Avs)
Flyers: Michkov (w/ 40% retention), 2025 1st (lottery protected - rolls over to 2026 unprotected)

It’s risky cause I like Pohlkamp, and the Avs second is nice. But if they throw in a first it’s probably worth it….

:sarcasm: - in case you weren’t sure, no way we take MichFRAUD, he sucks - :neener:

Agreed i think with an exception to a few outliers everyone was cautiously optimistic. Then after he began to dazzle game after game is when the hype train left the station.

This is the first time probably since Crosby/ Ovie where I’m actively doing everything I can to see a player play. I can’t say I feel the same way about Bedard like I was curious to see what the hype was about but I was never really like wow I have to see him play again
Bedard gives off Matthews energy. I don’t see the drive in him to become one of the greatest.
