Babcock is so frustrating sometimes. No, let's use Leo on the PP instead. He is the perfectly fine safe player who should be playing on the PP. Gimme a break!
He certainly isn't a PP player. Haven't figured that one out yet.

Honestly he wouldn't be terrible in front, wreaking havoc and tipping pucks. The awful part is he's played in the high slot, a position that requires skill, soft hands and a good level of hockey IQ.

One thing people on this forum are bad for are overhyping our 'shiny new toys'.

Prospects like Kapanen and Johnsson have shown signs of being good, but they've also made some pretty bad mistakes.

Kapanen in particular has been on the ice for 7GA (5 at ES) and is a -3.
Johnsson being staying in the lineup, but he could be injured after being hit hard last game.

If Komarov is in, he won't have the 'high abilities' that Kapanen or Johnsson have, but he also isn't prone to many mistakes that Kapanen and Johnsson have shown so far either.

I'd prefer to keep Komarov out of the lineup, but its not the end of the world if we have him on our 4th line...

The fact that Babcock insists on playing Komarov on the PP and 3v3 scenarios makes me question is competence.
Stubbornness is sometimes a positive attribute, but more often then not it's a detriment.

Except the coach does not use him as strictly a 4th liner, he uses him way too much. But almost every other shift, Babs throws him over the boards. Honestly, he still thinks he is an All-Star.

Its not the end of the world, but having a guy like Johnsson who can blow by guys and finish could be crucial in a game like tonight. I like Leo, but I dont see the point of changing a winning lineup right now

It's not about shiny prospects and hell, it's not even about Komarov either. It's about the fact that Babcock grossly misuses him. If he was on the 4th line and PK, people would be happy he was back because he's a very likable guy and he's responsible defensively.
What pisses everyone off is the fact that he is on the PP, logs big minutes and plays too high in the line-up. The skills just isnt there and he kills skill lines just like Marner fires them up.
I want him to sit and also leave as a UFA for the same reason I'd take a bottle away from an alcoholic. If the option is there, they'll abuse it.

That's how it seems to me.

Komarov drags down every line he plays on. He doesn't hit anymore, doesn't kill penalties well anymore, and Babcock tends to overplay him and put him on the PP.
Game 7 and the coach goes with Komarov? The Bruins are smiling
