If Komarov is gonna let off from hits and be afraid to get injured, it definitely matters since Komarov is inferior in almost every other category. Johnsson had a heck of a game in a crucial win in Game 5. Komarov doesn't score Johnsson's goal in Boston last time.

So while they aren't superstars, I think every advantage you can have you take.

I can see how Koma is more "safe" than those other players. Kappy and Johnsson really had some glaring turnovers the other night. I am still sick of Babcock's love for guys like Koma. Komarov shouldn't be anywhere near this team based on his rapidly declining skill level.

Yep, kid has played well. I have no issue with Johnsson dressing.

This is why I think Babcock is even remotely thinking about it. It's either you want speed and skill or safe and strength.

I then look at Johnsson's last game in Boston and he was really good with Kadri and Kapanen. Scored a crucial goal and had a lot of energy.

It's tough but you've won 3 of the last 4 games with this lineup...

Babcock just likes messing with everyone. The past 2 games everyone thought it was Kadri back on the line with Marner and Marleau right up until puck drop. And then at puck drop we see Plekanec instead of Kadri.
