In other news Dansk started the season as number one choice for Rögle over their pro experienced, previously preferred starting goalie: Norwegian international Lars Volden. While at that he posted .943 save percentage against the best team in Sweden, coming 45 seconds away from a big robbery. Quite positive.

Dansk's team, Rögle, was outshot 12 to 35. The opponents, Frölunda (Wennberg played for them), should be a good team this season but Rögle likely will be a bottom team and that's not a good sign he'll get offensive support. Would be nice to have Dansk at least not have to play out of his mind every game to have a good season, but at least he should see lots of pucks.

I managed to see yesterday the first two period, Dansk was not bad. I hope Sweden will bring him back to life.

Thanks! That was also a really good read! Also goes to show you why Jarmo wants guys of good character, guys who know and trust in the fact their hard work pays off. Maybe not today, this month or even this season. But in time it will eventually be rewarded.

Kole Sherwood seems to be playing very well in London right now.

2 goals and 1 assist in 2 games thus far. Seems to be playing with Tkachuk. I know some were a bit tentative about the 2 way contract and thought we might just be signing him because he's from Columbus, but obviously he has some talent.

So, who scores the most points this year among our prospects? I'm going to go with Sherwood.

If Bittner follows our winterhawks prospect schedule this should be a huge year for him.

Bittner will score the most goals. I'd probably go with him for most points too.

Given the quality of draft picks, and the development that has occurred in the Jarmo administration, he gets 100% vote of confidence on this move (Sherwood).

For my $$, I don't think Jarmo has rolled snake-eyes on any 1st or 2nd round pick thus far, and he has had 6 first rounders in 3 years. Yes, it's still too early on many of them.

Compare that with Doug, he crapped out on almost every 1st and 2nd. The obvious exceptions were Klesla and Nash.

That's not even fair lol.
