Let’s hope Fantilli, JMFJ, KJ, and Werenski are smart enough that they won’t try to plant a Michigan flag in the stadium.
I'd call that the sort of move that could potentially doom the franchise. It's not just some players that are a little sensitive about that.

Remember the bad old days when there'd be Penguins fans riding on the Zamboni at the Nat? Imagine that happening multiple games in a row for multiple years.

Nice to see Stinger and Brutus becoming besties. My wife was at the Blues game which was mascot night and Brutus came to play dodgeball with the rest of the mascots (there were maybe 10+ in attendance that night).

oh my g-d yes I was about ready to snap for a moment there

I started having flashbacks to Michigan during the 4th qtr. I was really sour when they got conservative on both sides of the ball. But hey they pulled through.

Oy; I was actually starting to growl at my screen, "stop that, damnit! Y'all're Michiganing it!"

Me against Michigan: Why don’t we throw more screen passes?

Me against Texas: What a fantastic screen pass!

Me 2nd half against Notre Dame: Why don’t we throw more screen passes?

National Championship…unbelievable.
Weird feeling of redemption, relief and confirmation.
incredible 4-game run.
Taking nothing away from the natty, but OSU has got to beat TTUN; if for no other reason than to make ME happier!
And Viqsi.

The conservative play calling drove me nuts in the 2nd half, but National Champions has a nice ring to it

True, but if they hadn't lost that fumble deep in Notre Dame territory halfway through the 4th, they would have been up 3 scores and nobody would be talking about it. Turnovers are so big in current football. Back in the 70's, you would watch game highlights and routinely a team would have 5 or 6 turnovers in a game, it was not a big surprise. 50 years ago in 1975, the January 1 bowls had an average of 7 turnovers
