I like Jordan Weal.

But he is just not going to cut it as a Winger in the Kings system. It requires him to win Board battles, and fight through checks.

He does not posses the size or strength to do so consistently. He has to play Center, if he is ever going to make it.

Has to displace Shore or Andy. Not sure that is going to happen on a permanent basis. Although Shore is making a good case to get sent back to the AHL.

The two goals came when the Kings had an extra skater. The third period goal they gave up was on them. Poor execution when they had the puck and even worse coverage when they gave up the puck.

If you want to continue to make excuses for them, by all means, go ahead.

This is the same story as last season where one line carried the bulk of the offense in the first month, and when they cooled off, so did the rest of the team.

Maybe its time for Kopitar to get the best wingers instead of Jeff Carter. 100 years old Marian Gaborik and Dustin "can't hit empty soccer net" Brown. And someone needs to play defense, because Amazing Jeff likes to score goals and does not care about defense so much.

Kopitar scored 30+Goals and 80 Points with Ryan Smyth as his line mate for an entire SEASON.

Brown should not be with Kopitar at this point. His career as a scorer is finished, but he can still back off defenders with his speed and physicality. Definitely should put him on the third/fourth line and put Pearson up with Kopi full time. Don't know what's up with Gaborik but I guess he is 33 and sooner or later his wheels are going to fall off. Maybe this is the year. Kopitar looks okay, but needs to get going, it's almost at the quarter mark of the season.

Might be a good idea, but that shifts the already awful Gabo to RW. It's pick your poison bad right now with Kopitar's line. Maybe Sutter should just switch Brown/Gabo, Brown always ends up on the left side anyway.

An anomally. His career average isn't 30 goals and 80pts. He's done the 30 goal thing twice in his whole career. He's reached 80pts once. Maybe we can rehire Terry Murray or Marc Crawford as those were times he scored that much.
