Buy. We're one of the few teams that can put together two highly-effective two-way lines that can run with Crosby and Malkin's lines.

Buy/Sell: Atkinson and Anisimov tie for the team lead in goals with... 26. (You can probably tell I'm not that bullish on Gaborik).

Sell. It's going to be Gaborik...and if it isn't we're in trouble or someone emerged as a superstar.

Sorry to step out of turn, but.... I don't think Gaborik has to be the top scorer for us to be out of trouble. We were 19-5-5 down the stretch last year, and our top scorers weren't scoring at 30 goal paces. Gaborik had 3 goals in 12 games for us last year. His skating should be better with a healthier groin, but will his wrister return to form? I don't think he tops 20-30 goals without a faster release.

Sell. We have too many better scoring options, so Umberger shouldn't start the season as the forwards ice-time leader (as he was last year). Then again Coach Richards had him lead the forwards last year despite ample evidence that he was ineffective....

Buy/Sell: By mid-season Tim Erixon is playing like a consistent top-4 defenceman.

Sell, I think Johnson, Wisniewski and Tyutin are a good start, but Erixon doesn't seem that far along to me.

Ryan Johansen breaks out and silences his critics, becoming a legitimate second line center.

Wow, I thought I was Foligno's biggest fan here, (because i think he's a very helpful player in subtle ways), but you know there's a good reason he's never scored more than 15 goals in a year. His shot is terrible.

Easy buy. Unless he never gets a taste he'll score. I can see us trying him on wing.

Buy/Sell: Wiz breaks his hand on Dorsett's face. (this isn't a probabilistic one, but I can imagine it happening too easily.)

His wrister might have been affected by hernia as well as his skating. He scored 41 just a year ago.

I'm definitely a wrong person to answer the question, but I'd sell. Most of the Jackets fans I know are too intelligent to harass anybody.

Buy/Sell. At some point Austin Madaisky will make his NHL debut due to injury virus that hits our defense every year.

Haha I've seen some chants at games. My all time favorite was guys in section 110 yelling at Nabokov calling him Nabisco. THe best part was when his buddy shut him down after the "Hey Nabisco why don't you go back to your tree and hang out with your Keebler elf friends"

Sell on Madaisky. There's just too many guys in line in front of him and we won't have that many injuries.

Buy, it simply will get swept under the rug and forgotten about. After all, they have the Winter Classic(s )

At some point during the season, Brandon Dubinsky annoys Sidney Crosby and goads him into a fight, which immediately flares up the talk of taking fighting out of hockey again.

Jeff Rimer has a clean season, not mispronouncing a single player's name.
