Didn't watch the game, hadn't known if we won or not and seconds before i checked the score I said in my head "Nah there's no way the Jets lost this one"

I'm with you. Really I'm just taking solace in watching the kids and Dubois, JoMo and Conner. The rest is usually a forgettable experience and I've been passionate from day one but this team makes it hard to be positively invested in them.
I pretty much stand by the notion that they need a leadership change in the room ala Minnesota and they need to rebuild the team around speed, puck moving and skill. Change the leadership and bring in the right coach for that approach.
But man after seeing our other kids for a month it's pretty incredible just how limited Stanley is compared to the other three (Yes I'm including Chisholm in here as well). I'd be looking to parlay him into a middle 6 player with some skill like Debruysk or Tippett.

Stubhub, even tonight’s game had tix available at $60 on ticketmaster. Jets stock is dropping quickly
Or the pandemic has scared a lot of people away. Most of the arenas in the states have sparse crowds as well.

Must game with the Jets displaying.... no intensity, no drive, no sense of purpose.....

You have to bring in the professional PR excuse department to soothe the ire of unhappy fans --like :
1) The Jets were tired tonight
2) They just got off a tough road trip
3) Dave Lowry hasn't had enough time with this team.
4) They were missing 2 key players in Ehlers and Pionk
5) They took this team for granted and were not ready.
6) Too many players with aftereffects of having contracting COVID.
Pretty good excuses to soothe the angry fan base, it's a start
When it comes down to it -- no excuses, but we need some character players that will lead, and play with consistency, night in and night out.

I have nothing against Lowry and he was thrown into a tough spot with no forewarning but he isn't what is needed.

Our team is really struggling to score goals this year. Trotz' Islanders are doing a significantly worse job at scoring goals than the Jets are(Islanders are at 2.42 goals per game and the Jets are at 2.82), and his teams have never been known for their offensive game. Im not sure he is the answer.
You can't give this kind of effort at home, EVER , just brutal. I will have no problem with Copp being traded, so frustrating watching him try and create offense, the epitome of Stone Hands .

I just can't believe what a boring game that was and when Scheifele and Wheeler look like they are just out for a skate they are setting a horrible example for the younger players . All i know is if i was Chevy i would have gone down to the dressing room after and just said REALLY??? That's the effort you are going to give at home when you are apparently trying to get into a playoff spot ??? Then put my cell phone to my ear and walk the f*** out.
