Don't know whats funnier, Goodrow out there with Laf and Fox for 3v3 or Strome batting cleanup in a shootout.

Good game, we looked like the better team. Not one to cry about calls, but one ref who didn't wanna call the game probably cost us. Whatever, at least we got a point.

Classic Gerard "I'm such a good coach I got left on the side of the road" Gallant player usage

Question: why is it that when they either lead or even win a game, you're nowhere to be seen?

They couldn't beat teams in playoff positions with Panarin in the line up either.

They had 2 shots in the third period. This is not a good team.

This is only the 3rd "playoff" team they've played since Nov 8 so it's not really their fault that they haven't beaten a playoff team in that time frame. You have the tight losses vs Toronto and Vegas (in a shootout no less) and the two Colorado losses. And why are we using teams currently in playoff position as the benchmark? How about any team that's in the playoff hunt? Boston is 1 point out with FOUR games in hand, do they not count? CBJ is 2 points out with 2 games in hand. Philly is 4 points out with 2 games in hand. SJ is only 3 points out. Nashville wasn't in a playoff spot when they beat us, do they still count?

You can only play the teams in front of you and a season is full of ebbs and flows. If they're still unable to beat playoff teams in March and April, then we have a problem.

Instead right now we're first in the Metro and tied for first in the league. This team isn't perfect and they're not really playing their best but I'm sorry, they're good. They're not great and they're finding their way but at the very least they're good.

I mean, I knew Strome was going to go 5 hole again like last time. The back ups do the research on SO moves. Lazy and lack of creativity.

Great, and they've lost all of them.

It's a benchmark because those are the teams that play in the playoffs. The Coyotes don't. Which the Rangers should be thankful for because they barely beat them.

Annoying game. Refs robbed them of at least 2 penalties and were getting in the way of every pass. 5 on 5 offense is pathetic. Silver lining is that Mika was the best player on the ice for either side

Can the kids do something? Anything? Its so frustrating watching them be invisible offensively every night, or in Chytil's case, actively hurting the team.

Probably going to be the last game we see for awhile when the league stupidly goes into a pause, but if not, see you Wednesday

It's absolutely wild that professional athletes don't grasp the concept of flaw balance.

Im selling my 3 VIP passes to the all-you-can-eat buffet in the VGK dressing room. American. International. Italian. Chinese. Chocolate fountain (heard that's good). BBQ station and grille serving up The Strip's best steak tips. PM me.

Rangers have not beaten a team in a playoff position since November 8th.

1) They beat Boston on Nov. 26th in Boston. Boston is currently 9th, but are 1 point back and have 4 games in hand.
2) Out of 17 games since Nov. 8th, only 5 have been against playoff positioned teams. 4 of those 5 have come in the last 2 weeks without Shesterkin. 3 of the 5 they lost by 1 goal.

You're technically correct, but missing loads of context that really makes the statement meaningless.

Well I guess it's a good thing it's December 17th right now and they have 4 months to figure it out.

Gauthier scored

I also agree that you are quite the prairie dog when this team does pull off a W or even takes a lead.
Again, hasn't been too much of that recently, has there? 2-3-1 in their last 6 and the only two wins have been against two of the worst teams of the league and both of those games were embarassments.

You're happy about that though, I get it. You like mediocrity.

Georgiev is better but still positionally really unsteady.

Disappointed they could not shut them down in regulation. Vegas played last night and were out of gas. That 3rd period was like taking three steps back after an excellent 2nd period.

1)Boston is not currently in a playoff position and wasn't when they played them - so nothing I said was wrong.
2)Yes, and they have lost them all. Did not win a one of them. Zero wins against teams that actually play in the playoffs.
