I had a gaming addiction around age 24 after a major break-up, I went and got help to manage it. It can be addiction just like anything else.
My days would consist of going to bed at 4am/5am, waking up at 2pm, eating and going right back to gaming until I fell asleep. The only time I got up is to eat, check my phone, answer the door for food.
I remember some kid died from gaming, he didn't eat or drink and died from dehydration.. imagine how addicted you have to be to just give up not drinking lol.
It literally ruined almost a year of my life until I met a girl who snapped me out of it and suggested I talk to someone.
I mean just look at how addicted people are to their phones. People need to see gaming can be an addiction as well.
