Still, nice to see that they still didn't mail it in even after the 1st ENG. There were certainly some good efforts in that game, just not enough, and we didn't get a few bounces that could have made a difference.

Let's get those guys in a sauna and move on to the next one.

The loss is what it is but I'm blaming the league for this. Lose an hour of sleep and play not even 24 hours after wrapping up, the league should be questioned about that. That's how players get hurt.

Great effort though. They really carried the play in the 2nd and 3rd, again. The Pens probably aren’t feeling great about themselves under the circumstances.

That‘s pretty much where I’m at.

At this point, we’re all but guaranteed to make the playoffs, and in a rather high seed as well. So W/Ls become less about the end result and more about how the team played.

Today, they played very well, but just didn’t the result they wanted. No biggie. Keep playing like that and we’ll find success more often than not.

I am almost thinking that Pesce would be better suited on the number 1 pairing than Bear. Bear has not provided much offense in his time on the number 1 pairing. Just 2 points in the nine games he has had filling in and is minus 4 in March. I would hope Rod has noticed this.

Yeah, Bear doesn't deserve first pairing minutes, but I'm guessing a Skjei - Bear pairing would be a butt-pucker-fest most of the game.
