I don't think we're signing anyone else. We rode Peters and Ellis when Ward went down last year. Don't see why'd we do anything different this year (and yes we did terrible last year)

really need to do more about goaltending. Ward's injury prone and well, it has been hashed and rehashed. over 6 mil for what exactly?

6 million for above average goaltending. We've seen what many other goaltenders look like behind this team and few, if any, come close to Ward's performance.

Then its over. Call me whatever you want, but we cant score the 8 goals a game we will need to overcome the shooting trainer in net.

We now have a cap limit team, thats literally probably the easiest win in the NHL. Better hope Khudobin can come back early. And I enver thought Id say this, but I want to see Ward go. hes a 6.5 million dollar liability. Im sorry, I loved the guy. But enough is enough. I have no confidence in him any more. Thats a WEAK injury.

Assuming its a groin or knee who in their right mind would free us of his contract? We're stuck. Though Sekera has been great I wish we had drafted Fucale. We do need to start planning for that position post-Ward.

yeah that's right. I was just thinking how hard it would be to get rid of him and his contract.

I wish Chantal asked Eric what they were going to do without Cam.

Eric: Stop Trying. Not worth my time.

Chantal: but you're the captain. Shouldn't you lead them?

Eric: **** that, I'll go get a tan instead.

Hey if Ward and Khudobin are out a long time, we'll get another top five pick.

If Ward is done for the year and Khudobin comes back next week, he can prove if he's a starter in the league.

Sliver linings, I haz them.

I wonder if we have been lied to about Ward being fully healthy. The claim by that poster (who was verified as a legit source) that Khudobin turned down a two-year deal at $2M/yr from Philadelphia to sign here at 800k because he thought he had a better chance at starting here makes me wonder. Why would Khudobin think he has a better chance at starting over Cam Ward than Steve Mason unless Ward is not healhty?

If Khudobin comes back next week, Minny, Colorado, and Pittsburgh are all losses. Kind of screws up everything we've done well so far in the season.

Khudobin was 2nd on the Flyers' list, said the poster. He said the Flyers got their #1 choice.

I've thought all year, and even mentioned it this game pre-injury, that Cam has been making slow rebound-recoveries all year. He's noticeably out of position for a prolonged amount of time.
