really need to do more about goaltending. Ward's injury prone and well, it has been hashed and rehashed. over 6 mil for what exactly?

6 million for above average goaltending. We've seen what many other goaltenders look like behind this team and few, if any, come close to Ward's performance.

And I enver thought Id say this, but I want to see Ward go. hes a 6.5 million dollar liability. Im sorry, I loved the guy. But enough is enough. I have no confidence in him any more. The claim by that poster (who was verified as a legit source) that Khudobin turned down a two-year deal at $2M/yr from Philadelphia to sign here at 800k because he thought he had a better chance at starting here makes me wonder. Why would Khudobin think he has a better chance at starting over Cam Ward than Steve Mason unless Ward is not healhty?

I've thought all year, and even mentioned it this game pre-injury, that Cam has been making slow rebound-recoveries all year. He's noticeably out of position for a prolonged amount of time.
