Have Connor Hellebuyck surpassed Carey Price at this point based on accolades alone or he still needs a dominant playoffs run ?

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerCome on man, with that logic it’d mean Price is better than Roy, Brodeur, etc.
Hellebuyck is way better than Price, who is probably the single most overrated goalie ever.Have Connor Hellebuyck surpassed Carey Price at this point based on accolades alone or he still needs a dominant playoffs run ?
Helleybuck is the better goalie. Doesn’t mean Price wasn’t elite. But in my books Helley is the GOAT in terms of what he can do against the players of today.
His 2017-18 run is better than any Price run outside of 2020-21 tbh…...hasn't done shyte in the Playoffs yet...that's what's holding him back...

I still think Price have the better playoffs career , but let’s not act like he have a crazy playoffs career either…
People vastly underestimate how bad the post-D-exodus Winnipeg Jets were. The 2019 Jets finished with 99 points, and lost Byfuglien, Trouba, Myers, and Chiarot, and replaced them with Pionk and various #7-9 D-men. For all intents and purposes, they lost Morrissey too, as he was going through off-ice issues (sick dad) which resulted in his worst season as a pro.Price definitely wins the *but he did it on a dogshit team* argument though.
Price was largely an exceptional playoff goaltender. Hellebuyck hasn't been yet. At some point the regular season accolades will probably outweigh the difference in playoff performances (or Hellebuyck could have a great playoff run, which I would prefer), but I don't think we've hit that point yet.

Goal support is the key here. Jets have always had good offensive forwards. Habs played to win 1-0 every nightPrice was largely an exceptional playoff goaltender. Hellebuyck hasn't been yet. No, he was. Despite those four playoffs, only a handful goalies in the history of the league comes close to his combination of games played in the playoffs and his playoff save percentage. He wasn't, but ok...

Yeah, but their defense was absolutely dogshit. Their top 6 consisted of four of the worst defensive forwards in the league, plus Ehlers and Wheeler, who were okay.Goal support is the key here. Jets have always had good offensive forwards. Habs played to win 1-0 every night

Exactly. Until Hellybuck shows up in the playoffs he isn't in the same league as Price.Look at their playoff careers. This isn’t even close. Price carried a terrible Habs team for years.
I have some unfortunate news for you about Price, and in general about goaltenders for Canadian teams since 1992.If Hellebuyck wins a cup I may have to sit down and make a decision.
Give me Price if I want a goalie.
This is false....hasn't done shyte in the Playoffs yet...that's what's holding him back...
