yeah he's playing with matthew marner but he play there because he earn it. He having every tool to become an elite power foward who making life miserable for opposite D/G. Can of player who able to play the Tkachuk type of game but with better self-control. He's also great defensively even for a guy only in his second season in the NHL.

Matthews played his worst season ever in NHL and didn't look himself during basically 75% of regular season but didn't hurt his line because of Knies game. Knies at 22 is already a better player than Hyman who's also played with matthews and marner and it's not even close.

Pinto is a good player but sorry their impact are not even close

But does he put up those numbers in Ottawa? I have a hard time seeing that.

Regardless, better player or not, the Sens would probably be in a worse spot if we traded Pinto for Knies. The team suffers huge when he’s out.

I think Knies might put up an even better season in Ottawa

He’s scoring with his own effort a lot of the time, this isn’t hyman feeding off McDavid’s greatness for 50 goals. In Ottawa Knies would be carrying the puck a lot more, and getting a lot more powerplay time

1- Yes pretty sure he would have pretty good number in basically any NHL team. He's type of player making life easier to everybody

2- His impact is much bigger than his stats

in term of type of player, Knies is closer of Tkachuk than Pinto, no doubt about it.

Knies is at least as good as tkachuk, every year he asserts himself a little bit more. Once he reaches the confidence that tkachuk has Knies is going to be an all time beast.
