Still might be better than many of our dark years rosters.

Yeah... true. Aho, Turbo, Tro, and Nino playing already makes it better than most of them. The defense, even with Gardiner-Keane getting first line mins probably is better than anything we had after Pitkanen got hurt to before Slavin/Pesce stepped in.

Gardiner-Keane.....This should be interesting as the 1st pair.

Interested to see what Keane has. I have been assuming he's the heir to whoever gets taken in the Expansion Draft, figuring Seattle takes Skjei or Bean. Excited to see what he's got.

Don't know how much it means, but glad to see that Slavin is listed as a scratched rather than injured.

My thoughts exactly.

I dunno, the forward lineup doesn't look all that awful to me. Defense, well . . .

I think a big question is what does Nashville ice. They're in the same boat we are.

Head Coach John Hynes says "we'll have some changes" in regard to the lineup tonight. Hynes says they'll look to sit a couple of defensemen and forwards tonight in the final game of the regular season.

Seems to me like it is just one of those injuries that you hope is fine with about a week off, but could be easily aggravated or not respond quite how you hope. I'm still cautiously optimistic. I don't think it sounds long term.

It'll be interesting to see how the schedule plays out for the playoffs. If they stagger some of the series that start a little earlier, maybe you get a day or two off you wouldn't normally get and that will limit any time he might miss.

I’m seeing Slavin and several others listed as injuries not scratches on the projected lines....?

Either way it’s encouraging to hear Rod describe it as hopefully day to day.

I'm fairly confident the vast majority of our guys (excepting a guy like McGinn that's been out long term) will be ready to go and could play tonight if it "mattered". As for the injuries and being banged up, that's every team right now in most seasons. Especially so in this one.
