The Panthers should bring in a QB guru to try to fix him, what is Jon Gruden up to these days?
Didn’t they already bring one?

Bears could have drafted Stroud.... That's also a measuring stick for them and Caleb.That aged like milk

It was shocking at the time that Houston dealt their own first vs the one from Cleveland. Most didn’t expect Houston to make the PO. In fact most would say it was likely a pick from 5-12. But credit Ryan’s for doing such as great job.By most accounts Texans would've taken Stroud at #1
No idea if this would've impacted the trade up to #3 though (I doubt it)
Still such a shrewd move by the team to make sure they got their cornerstones at QB and DE. They trusted DeMeco to ensure they wouldn't have a pick that high again for a while.
this is Jets tier team building, trading up for Darnold at #3 when the rest of the roster is the worst in the league,and his weapons would be considered bad in the AAFLThis trade was terrible and would have been if we chose Stroud.. Trading up with the Swiss cheese of a team we had with holes the size of the St. Louis Arch wasn't a good idea (TM) The Panthers Trading up was a mistake.. Bryce Young needed a team that wasn't full of turnstiles to have a chance. At this point he's broken... And he may not of have good but the Panthers Broke him.
Getting a haul to help build a team around a QB isn't really comprable to nuking it for a haul only to pick a bustBears could have drafted Stroud.... That's also a measuring stick for them and Caleb.
CAR opponents coming up are Home to Cincy, Road to Chi, Home to ATL, road to wash, Road to Den, and home to NO. Carolina could go 3-3 over those 6 games. Up to Bryce to step up in practice and see how the offense is supposed to be executed. Dalton isn't anything special physical talent wise. But, he's a vet and can run an offense.Pretty clear after today that Bryce was holding them back quite a bit
Gets even worse for Young;
This is what myself and a few others were trying to echo; The team around him isn't actually terrible, it's just he's that bad he drags everything down with him.

Makes you wonder with Young, if he ended up in a non top 5 elite program (Bama, Georgia, OSU, etc), would he have done well enough to warrant being a top 10 pick if he didn't have a top notch OL and WR group?Yeah it’s pretty obvious now that Bryce was the issue.
I don’t know how they saw his arm at workouts and thought he would be able to fit it into tight windows and throw over guys heads.
That’s a bigger issue than his size. Defenses only need to worry about 20 yards from scrimmage.
Sending emails and texts to his friends about too many 'of those people' in the NFL probably.
I mean they have a coach who resurrected Geno Smith, Baker, and now Dalton. How bad is Bryce that he couldn’t even be made competent?
Smith was athletic. Could run and had the size you expected from a QB. Bryce has no clear cut physical tools. If he's not accurate and getting the ball out quick, he's got nothing to save him if the play doesn't go as designed.I can imagine Young having Alex Smith as a ceiling: a game manager with a noodle arm.
