Yeah, if we go for a new goalie, let's try for an actual starter rather than another backup who played well in a split/limited situation. Nevermind a guy who is probably going to get paid exorbitantly in free agency.

Still on the Fleury train!

Yup. Heck, I'd take a goalie prospect who's proven enough at the AHL level and in spot starts that he's legit. I can't think offhand who'd meet that qualification, but I'd be happy with MAF wearing the sightless eye.

Good grief, we can't stay out of the box, can we? I half expect Pastor Bill to peel the paint off the wall during the intermission.

This is even better than our normal games against a backup. It's one of those shouldn't be in the league goalies.

I know Tripp likes to praise it, but losing the puck like that when you try to make a move is one of the things that happens when you have a stick that's too long. It's not the first time he's borked up a play due to that long stick, either. Doesn't happen often, but it does happen. In this case, the slip up led to a goal. It won't usually end that way.

Remember when Lindholm's pre-draft highlight reel had people recalling Peter Forsberg?

While it may be true, that seems like a lot of speculation. Stuff like that happens when you have a stick that is too short also, and also when it's the right size. He's made a move like that a bunch of times and very successfully but sometimes the puck gets away with every NHL player. It happens. Puck hit's a bump, you lose sight of it for a second, etc..

Well, that sequence was just a comedy of errors. Two by Lindy in about three seconds, just after we talk about how great he's played.
