Why? As long as the team is winning, don't change anything.I say don't take out the player we're 5-0 with. Lafferty probably sits is my guess. Or ZAR.

Marner has played well in the playoffs his whole career. he has 41 points in 42 playoff games including 8 in three games this year. But it kinda does
Marner has points making it seem like he’s played well in playoffs
Reality is he’s one of our main pieces we need to lead in playoffs for success and neither he nor 34 have
Even though point production shows they haven’t been bad so yeah
It’s pretty much why they get paid what they get paid and we have very little cap room to improve

yes, I just checked 8 points. I better edit or Ill get 20 replies with the same info- thanks!8 points![]()

Leafs need to win this in 5. Looks like Boston is going to win their series in 5 and the last thing we want is Boston resting while Tampa tries running around every game and cheapshotting our players without penalties or suspensions.
It is true that he has 41 points in 42 playoff games. he has never disappeared.Almost true...
Marner disappears in series winning games. He's 0 goals 3 assists in 9 games were the leafs could have won the series.
You really are a f**kin jokeLeafs were fortunate for the quick whistle which resulted in Points and TB 4th goal not counting while the puck was still clearly loose and sitting at Sammy's pads.
Once the whistle blew if was the correct call to overrule the goal, the blowing the whistle was the mistake that cost TB the game. In fact it happened twice in the game only the other TB goal after the whistle was allowed to stand because of the continuation rule.
If this had happen to our Leafs we would be furious we got cheated by the Refs. Refs miss penalty calls all the time in games and certainly Leafs could have had more PP opportunities but Leafs didn't have any actual goals called back. Leafs were very fortunate to come away with a win as Rielly OT goal really should have only tied the game at 4-4, and of course OT wouldn't have even been possible with Leafs losing 4-3 in regulation even with ROR buzzer beating included.
And going into this year, he had 33 points in 39 games, not quite as impressive, and well below his regular season production rate.It is true that he has 41 points in 42 playoff games. he has never disappeared.
No need to pretend. All players have adjustments to the playoffs Marner included. And going into this year, he had 33 points in 39 games, not quite as impressive, and well below his regular season production rate.
Look Marner's a great player, and I wouldn't use the word "disappeared" as that's way too strong, but let's not pretend that there weren't a few years there where his production in the playoffs dipped well below his regular season pace. Those years are long gone though and it shouldn't surprise anyone that he's a much better player now than he was several years go.
Tampa is lucky for not getting any penalties for repeatedly slashing and poking Sammy after every play. Maybe that is why they got a quick whistle?Leafs were fortunate for the quick whistle which resulted in Points and TB 4th goal not counting while the puck was still clearly loose and sitting at Sammy's pads.

Leafs need to play the best game of their series tomorrow night. If they want to motivate themselves on the basis of "process" they are down 2-1 in the series and need to even up the score on the play quality and dominance factor. Put your best foot forward to start the game and dictate. Don't think about a split going home. Need to grab the 3-1 lead. Lightning keep talking about last year, but the Leafs need to be all business a la Raptors vs Warriors in 2019.
What do you think he will do from the press box? This series is about to get way more intense when Bunting returns by game 5.
You must be a blast to watch hockey with.Tampa is lucky for not getting any penalties for repeatedly slashing and poking Sammy after every play. Maybe that is why they got a quick whistle?
It's like you're not even trying anymore. Your game is off.Leafs were fortunate for the quick whistle which resulted in Points and TB 4th goal not counting while the puck was still clearly loose and sitting at Sammy's pads.

Stepping up in da playoffs, ye man u keep focus on the regular season. Later stay with that lover attitudeHey Duffy baby. GTFO...2 Decent games ,1 great game, 15 terrible games before that if that makes you feel better.
I just want him to play great every game...55 flippin years, time for someone to step up.
I wanna know when a team has ever been able to slash a goalies stick out of their hands like TB has done twice now without a call being made, or doing what Kucherov has done like 2 or 3 times by intentionally poking at the goalie when the play is blown dead or nowhere near the net? I feel like if we tried that we're in the box easily and everybody says it's an obvious penalty.

Ain't happening around these partsTrolling
If the report button doesnt get attention lets just call it out
If they gave fines or suspensions for all this stuff, there would be no players left to play. I hope you didn’t watch playoffs in the 80’s-early 2000’s, your head would explode watching the stuff that happened back then. The Maroon play was probably suspendable, but we all know that’s not happeningSo are any Tampa players getting fined or suspended?
What the f*** is this...
