This has to be some serious mental motivation for the boys - not that they needed more motivation. I'm guessing everyone in the Leafs room will feel great after seeing JT back on the ice!

Man the human body and more so the brain is so freaking weird. We’ve seen guys go down for months from seemingly nothing plays, meanwhile JT gets knocked out cold and is back on the ice.

Unreal. I have all the confidence in the world that he wouldn't be taking these next steps unless the team doctors were confident he could, so that's not a concern for me.

Would have never imagined this would be where we were at a week ago. Hopefully the team can get deep enough that he can get to 100% and return.

Just got myself a Tavares jersey. Every day it's still surreal this guy is a Leaf.

I think the knee sprain was a smokescreen meant to give JT time to heal from the concussion and for Dubas/Keefe from not having to report daily on JT progress. Good gamesmanship on the Leafs part to avoid any disctractions

Actually it is exact opposite situation .. JT now thinks he might not even have got concussed as he did not even get a headache from it or any nausea at all .. it appears to be a flash knockout .. but he did twist his knee very badly after da knockout trying to get up .. apparently he has da bruising.. it is very likely da worst of this is da bruising on his knee when he buckled trying to get up from da terrible accident
