Seems like Magnusson had a pretty effective first game. I didn't watch but heard he hit a couple posts and was generally pesky.

This tournament seems illegitimate, though. What with the timing, the small crowds and the number of players opting out. It's a weird one.

Suzy will play with his buddy and future #1 overall pick Bedard. Probably going to have some crazy inflated stats like Bura did with McDavid next year but should be great for his confidence. Can't be a bad thing to play with one of the best junior age players in the world for a season.

Looks like we may have a gem in Suzdalev (Sudsie? ). Playing w/ Bedard could be a great opportunity to develop his game.

That Bedard kid tho, wow. He picks those corners and makes it look like he isn't even trying. The draft is a long way off but sure looks like a great year to put the tank on.

No, just a little bit of friendly nepotism allowing him to come to dev & rookie camp. Harmless, but kid Lavi doesn't have any real pro prospects. He was a High School prep player into Division-III NCAA player for a reason. Better than any of us, but still miles away from having what it takes to play pro hockey.
