Someone help me out with the Kuzy timeline so far. Correct my errors here, I'm sure I've messed this up:

-Played kind of crap over the first 2 games.
-Got demoted for the 3rd game.
-Removed from PP1 somewhere in here.
-Was in danger of not playing the 4th game for some reason.
-Hulked out and got suspended

Is that correct?

Is that a plume of smoke billowing out of Kuzy's locker?
Erratic you say?

A bit OT (feel free to move mods if it’s better suited elsewhere).

Anybody wants to know how ridiculous French hockey media in Montreal is?

They made the picture below and seriously asked people if there was a chance for Caufield to follow Ovechkin’s footsteps.

The kid only has 81 games on his record and has scored 30 goals so far in his NHL career. The pressure in Montreal for anybody to be the savior of the team is insane.

Also had 3 assists in the game he earned his suspension, so is scoring at a point per game ratio lol. Always good for entertainment that guy

We really have the worst luck in trades. When its not rentals
Mantha Always hurt
Erat trash after 3 games
Brown hurt (mod edit)

Oshie worked out pretty well but the rest are just awful

We've had some good fortune in those aswell!

From this team Jensen is acquired by trade, alongside with cup winners Oshie and Eller. Also Kempny was a jackpot. Not a bad haul and makes up for some of the 'swing and misses'.

And not to mention the absolute steal of Marcus Johansson on last TDL. This guy has been rock solid for the price we paid ;)

If you saw video of him please post it. I think you saw video of someone else… Tarik posted videos of a few players in the new gear but Brown wasn’t one of them.
You’re right, it was someone else. Not sure how I got Brown out of Matt Irwin, my bad.

With Orlov and Jensen as UFAs to be this would be welcome news.
should we be worried about these guys getting older and giving them new contracts? We would probably be unable to replace this pair for any reasonable price so seems like a bet we have to make as they move into their mid-30s, age related declines be damned

At least there was 2018.

Wonder if they could pry Timo Meier out of San Jose. He’s 26, a UFA at the end of the year, and has a $6M cap hit. San Jose is terrible and has started the season 0-5. The price would probably be prohibitively high though, I can’t imagine BMac will trade the 2023 1st rounder with so much uncertainty this year.

He's RFA at the end of this contract but his qualifying offer is $10M minimum

Mentally preparing myself for an extension for Lars to be announced at some point. Eller makes no sense with Ovechkin. Ovi had his best game of the season last game and played parts of the game with Strome so Lavi decides to promote Eller from 3C to 1C? Weird thought process.

I do, however, really like that they separated Carlson and Fehervary. I like those pairs a lot.

It all depends on term and dollar.

Unless we crash hard this year I think we should try to bring both back, especially Orlov.
