I score soooo often from point shots in that game. It's hysterical. That is my bread and butter.

I think Hank is mentally exhausted, and is easing up a bit as we have lead, and it's costing him. He has played a TON, and his goals seem to be mental lapses. He doesn't seem as quick as he usually is and his rebound control is poor tonight. This is just burnout from playing so much. Doesn't change the fact he should save these though.

This is just my opinion at least.

His rebound control has always been poor. Either way, this team is not doing Lundy a favor, by screening him to block a shot.

Yet every single other person in this thread (pretty much) agrees with me. I think you are way off. There is no way you can defend the 2nd Caps goal. I agree that the 3rd is iffy. Not sure how much blame I put on Hank even if I think he could have stopped it.

In fairness, if this is one of our most dominant games ever, that's quite a testament to how underwhelming this team is.
