I don't know why I'm surprised regarding the lack of a suspension for Tom Wilson.

Colin Campbell has been a notorious Rangers hater for a long time after he was unceremoniously fired as head coach. The guy is the dumbest person in the league. It's hard to believe he's been around for this long.

This is a joke, if the Rangers and Quinn do nothing to answer this then they are an embarrassment and everyone in management needs to to go.

One of the most exciting star skill players in the league was almost murdered on the ice by an extreme repeat offender. You'd think this would be a slam dunk case.

I'm not sure what they're waiting for. Wilson to literally break someone's neck?

It went something like this (although the pot was substantially smaller)

One for the hardest hit against a Capital player. Legal or illegal. No matter.
One for beating up Wilson any which way.
$100 grand in each pot

I seem to recall Sather got some goon idiot thrown out of the league back in the day when Gretzky was a kid and the goon tried to brain Wayne.

This ruling is Parros, a goon, saying screw you Rangers for not carrying any goons on your squad. If the Rangers goon up, the goons win and we get more troglodyte nonsense, which the NHL clearly sees as an important dimension catering to a segment of the fan base.
 
I know a lot of people didn’t like Micheal Haley but Haley wasn’t just a fighter—he was an eye for an eye guy. There aren’t that many of them around but he’s a guy who would absolutely target someone say like John Carlson.

Oh, believe me, I'm not the violent type by any means and I usually think calls for more team toughness are overblown reactionary bullshit. But this circumstance is special. A few players we don't care about getting suspended need to be dressed and go out there and break a few somethings.

Tom Wilson is a legitimate psychopath with more than a few issues normal human beings shouldn't have.

No way they were suspending him for the playoffs, ratings.
Smith will square off with him ( which I appreciate), will get his ass half kicked, and that'll be it.
