Very poor player management at the end of the game. Everyone was gassed, no fresh legs to score.

That might be a bit of an overreaction. lil bit.

Not really.. the guy is getting outcoached badly... he has no fire, no reaction... .nothing. His player gets injured.. he stands calmly at the bench.... instead of fighting for a 5 min major. Even OV is showing better coaching and fire than he is. He's plain trash bud.

Canes have definitely played much better than us over the course of this series despite the series being tied.

I don't mind the forward lines but the defense pairs are atrocious.

Regarding the ongoing Reirden bashing, please remind me how many seasons Trotz was behind the bench before they won the cup.

Because there's no icing when the other team is on the PK, so they can take free pot shots at the empty net from 120 feet.
I get the risk
But having a 6 on 4 might be worth it with 4 min left and your going to to pull the goalie anyways at 90 sec

Hot rod is out coaching TR

My analysis of the game: Holtby did not lose this game for the Capitals. He was the best player for the Caps on the ice. John Carlson and others on the D were a mess many times during the game. The offense could not sustain any pressure in the offensive zone because they could not keep the puck in the zone to get anything set up. The passing was probably the worst I have seen all season long. The good thing is we come back home and do it all over on Saturday. Hopefully they will work on the passing the next few days. Carolina is not going away that is for damn sure. A side note though if Oshie is really hurt and I usually do not say this, but Tom Wilson has to come out with his eyes wide open. That hit was uncalled for and it was not boarding it was a cross check right across his chest. I hope that Oshbabe is OK.

Lots of overreactions.

Clam down everyone. Caps had chances, just didn't bury them. It wasn't a bad game.
They did not have that many high danger chances. Carolina has adjusted and they realize that we won't score goals by cycling the puck. As long as the Canes don't give up odd man rushes they know they can control our offense.

Oshie being so much pain, I am guessing dislocated shoulder... but it didn't have that sag...

This is awful. Doom. Nothing like this happened last season. The Caps losing two games in a row in a playoff series. We know that if they trail in a series, they will lose.

Barry never had pretty much the full roster of the defending champs to coach with and the nearest serious competition swept out in the first round. Your point is really irrelevant. If you think Reirden is doing well this series so far, make a case for it. I think you’ve got a hard sell.
