For whatever reason, svech and necas are the only ones comfortable passing through the box on the PP (only to each other tho).

For the 4 on 3 in ot, Necas started on the bench and Svech was put in front of the net.

But whatever, they won. PP is unreliable, this isn't new.

Its not just Canes, Caps are physical and have good team defence and special plays. One of the toughest teams to play against.
True but I think Ovi, who has feasted on Carolina for years and still does, along with said physical play really has a mental edge over the Canes -2019 playoffs notwithstanding…

Our finesse guys play timid vs teams like Washington and Boston. Need to get tougher between the ears.

Every team has a stinker here and there, but overall, the Canes are doing well. Squeezing extra points with key players slumping, including against a very good Calgary team, is what the top teams do. Hopefully Aho and Turbo, mainly, wake up soon, but the best part about this is that the Canes are not doing the Laffs routine.

The way Noesen was holding his arm, I thought for sure it was a shoulder injury after that hit. I know he stayed on the bench and played on the PP, but didn't see him on the ice much other than that PP. Maybe it was just a stinger/bruise.
