For every victory in a row Lindy should subtract an F from the lineup and add another D

For some reason this reminded me of Eric Gelinas.

Mac has played well thus far but I'm still not quite ready to say he's back as we've been burned too many times in the past.

If his play continues well into the season, then I'll be pleasantly surprised (and shocked) that he has somehow managed to turn it around.

Until then, I'm going to be on pins and needles whenever an opposing player shoots the puck at him....

I hope like hell he continues this level of play. Elliot Friedman was right when he said in the latest 32 thoughts podcast that Blackwood may be the most important player when factoring in what impact they have on their teams success .

gotta be getting close to zharkov territory
He didn’t score until his 49th NHL game. I had to look that up just now.

He then went about 30 games between his first NHL goal and his second goal. His second goal was in his last game/the season finale of the season 10-11. I’m sure most will remember the famous on-ice post game interview.

He only played 4 more NHL games ever after that. Both the next season.

He was another guy that fell out of favor under DeBoer coming in, along with Hot Rod and Mark Fraser. And thank god for it with those last two.

anyone know a good bar/place in nyc to watch the game tonight!

Prudential Center is a nice place to watch the game, just outside of NYC.

Zharkov was a much better hockey player than the other two, but he was terrible at finding the net.

The Canuck in Chelsea is supposed to be a good hockey bar. Never been there myself though. There really aren't any dedicated Devils bars in NYC.

That said, cheapest tickets to the game are $17 right now. You can get a round trip NJ transit ticket for $10 from NY Penn to Newark Penn that drops you off 3 blocks from the arena. It's a 15-20 minute train ride. If you're in town, you might as well go!
