MehOh boy. I mean he’s definitely an intriguing prospect but being a 0.5ppg in the OHL is not good. He needs to have at least a PPG season to show he’s worth it.
hate this. it's not like he was a threat to re-enter the draft since he was drafted out of europe. they should have waited until he was closer to turning pro
I don’t get comments like these.Imagine thinking that you know better than this mgmt group
Maybe it's a gamble on the player's development try to make their ELC expire sooner incase they go off at 21 or 22 and need a more expensive contract? Or just to reward a player for doing well and getting them some money if they're in junior? It’s a weird trend to do this league-wide. I really don’t understand it.

Should we just shut down the forums cuz f*** it none of us know anything anyway? This isn’t the first time I’ve seen you comment this.

Main reason I can think of is that they believe that setting up the player financially will help with his developmentit'll slide because he's going back to jr
there's no reason to sign this player early that i know of
They must feel there's some benefit to it. It's a head scratcher for sure, but can you think of any reason that's likely beneficial for the players development or the team as well?it'll slide because he's going back to jr
