Don’t really get the Miller comparisons for DeBrusk. DeBrusk has played half his ice time with Bergeron and/or Marchand. Has great results with Bergeron, average without him. Miller had strong linemates at times but produced well without them too.
Miller was producing more at even strength on his own, and has really gone to the next level by becoming an elite playmaker, particularly on the power play. DeBrusk can score goals but is a pretty poor playmaker.
Plus Miller’s breakout was unusual, so it’s not something you should bank on or reasonably expect.
