Go Hawks!
Historically, prior to coming to Vancouver he wasn't a PP merchant...he was a reasonable 5v5 producer.plus hes a powerplay merchant. gets his goals from in close any team needing a front net precense, hes your guy

Keep Hronek & MP3, trade bambi and Demko, or both goalies.Hronek is literally our best trade asset right now. Hitting his prime, proven he can play top pairing dman role, manageable cap hit. We need to trade him, Petey, and Demko( before his ntc kicks in) healthy demko can ruin our tank badly.
Terrible asset managementKeep Hronek & MP3, trade bambi and Demko, or both goalies.
Acquire Merzlikins, Montembeault, cossa, wallstedt, Ullmark, etc somehow, wait for waivers/opportunity.
What most of sound body and mind would refer to as Benning-esqueTerrible asset management
I wonder how financially stretched the development company (and by extension the family) is? The (Real Estate) market, particularly condos, has been in trouble for a while and it's now at the point where the Federal Government is coming in to bail out the developers. $3000MM+ to convert unsold luxury condos into "affordable housing". The murderous f***ing rage that wells up inside me at the thought of this family benefitting from a taxpayer funded bailout......It really feels like they are prepping the team for a sale. Used to be the norm for teams to cut down on expenses and long-term commitments before doing so. With valuations going the way they are that has become less common but with how bad this team has been for so long I wonder if they feel like they need to (particularly if they are bringing in a minority shareholder).
Terrible meaningless teenager fan terminology.Terrible asset management
Because they’re cowardsI’m continuously confused why NHL teams don’t agree to trades on the weekend during busy times like the lead-up to the draft and TDL. It does happen but usually single digits and instead it’s always just kind of quiet.
Perfetti is and odd target and would be more of a “retool on the fly” add.![]()
Who could trade a top-10 pick and what might a deal look like?
While trading a locked-in top-10 draft pick is not a common move in the NHL, there are a few teams that might be exploring that possibility in 2026. Ryan Dixon looks at some teams that could move a pick like that, and what a trade might look like.www.sportsnet.ca
The SJ Rags proposal is brutal for SJ.
Proposes EP40, DeBrusk + 24 for 8 + Perfetti
Interesting.

4th period linking us to Shane Wright huh. And Debrusk to the Kraken.

Absolutely this. There’s a lot of hype for fireworks and yet it’s probably going to disappoint and be more of the same (a few moves)Because they’re cowards
Unless you're getting like a Fantilli or something, trading Buium is a nightmare.Getting Byram for cheap, drafting Carels and trading Buium for a center is the play here.
It’s not. Buium doesn’t have the same value he had last summer. Carels projects to be a strong two way defender, not necessarily a PP quarterback. Neither is Byram. So the Canucks have no long term offensive dman now.Getting Byram for cheap, drafting Carels and trading Buium for a center is the play here.
Not going to get Byram for cheap.Getting Byram for cheap, drafting Carels and trading Buium for a center is the play here.
