I mean in general around the league. Not just the canucks - bc it’s clear they’ve been trying. Been reports on two weekends since the Miller trade that they’ve been “up to stuff” and things may go down - so we know they’re in the mix.
But more so around the league. Although I listened to Drance’s lunch hour and he said this rantanen stuff has been holding things back around the league.

But they also need tangible assets to take to be able to flip for something else - immediately or in the summer. So if it’s a second a shitty prospect on the table for Boeser, it’s not happening. Or if it’s a 3rd and a D prospect for Suter, nope.

Barlow hasn't just failed to develop post draft, he's regressed. That's a massive crimson red flag IMO.

Desharnais has been absolutely disastrous this season.
I watch a lot of extended 10 minute high light packages of games around the league and he's been directly responsible for several goals against the Pens.
Maybe San Jose feels like they're being pushed around in front of their own net? It's the only thing he's been good for this year.

McMichael isnt a prospect anymore, he broke out this year and no way in hell are they trading him for a rental. He's got 25 goals 25 assists right now

25th. Probably content to fill that hole for a year and recoup something if by some miracle he is less horrible next season.
