Those numbers are ridiculously low, brocks next contract is starting with an eight.

Canucks don't really want to pay the 8x8, and we know Minnesota is going to give him whatever it takes july 1st, likely 8.5 or more on a seven year deal.
Only question is do we trade him as a rental somewhere, or directly to Minnesota for them to offer him the extra eighth year.

Those numbers are low, but I believe Cam Robinson said the Canucks were willing to paying him $8m per, just on a 3-4 year deal. If he wants 8x8, then perhaps a middle ground for both is lowering the AAV under $8m to get him his term of 6-7 years?

The Canucks holding at 3-4 years is an obvious non-starter though. They can't negotiate if the Canucks don't move off of that term limit.

Bo was asking for too much in the summer. If you truly want to stay with a team you don't do that.
