Fellas sorry way too much posts to catch up on to get the general vibe of where everybody is at but I’d like to offer a few words ( apologies if this is been stated earlier )
We have a good team
We have decent to good players available, I’ve always been surprised how little other teams value our players
Boeser and Suter were clutch players to add ( on really good contacts and term )
I was fully hoping for some prices in return for them being moved as I want this team to get better BUT
I see the importance of keeping them now and likely next year as we are playoff contenders. If the offers were not good the I “agree” with management this deadline, this isn’t the Hamius, Tanev trade deadlines of the past, we are or were in a playoff position and we are arguable better than the 9,10 and 11th place teams in the west, even with a bad Petey
So im surprisingly comfortable holding onto both those players, hopefully we resign them to decent shorter contracts.
I am disappointed we didn’t capitalize on the cap space but it doesn’t look like they was happening this year anyways
We have money to burn next year and will get better
It takes two to tango and our management group didn’t get bent over, once again proving we have competent management
I bet we get better at the draft/free agency
