So let me understand this offer.

Zibanejad, Kreider, Lindgren, pick
For
JT Miller, Boeser, Hoglander

Canucks get Zibb - a Cap Dump (He has been Awful this year)
Kreider - 11 goals 1 assist in 30 games (He has been Awful this year)
Lindgren - A defensive D-man who does not play defense (He has been Awful this year)
and a Pick (Did not mention which one, I guess it's a Awful one this year).

For

JT Miller - A hothead who is top 10 in scoring in the last 3 seasons, who is a power foward that can play LW/C/RW coming off a PPG Playoffs LAST SEASON, and who is still near a PPG This season With all the "Drama" surrounding him.
Brock Boeser - A pure sniping having another good season, and is right on trajectory for another 35/40 goal season.
and Hoglander - Okay, he has been shit this year.

I don't wanna be mean, but come on man.
And don't play the Ranger card about how they have not been that bad.
When i Lurk the Rangers board, 99% of the Posts are about Kreider/Zib/Lind to be sent to the moon
I always love these posts. Focus on 30ish games for players being traded to your team while completely ignoring history but when it comes to players on your team being traded away immediately bring up past years performance to highlight how good those players are. Past performance only matters to help your point not take away from it. BTW Zibs was a PPG in last years playoffs too but that doesn't matter because now he is a cap dump....

Regarding the Rangers board it could be the worst board on this site. People have literally made good posters no longer post. How pathetic is that posters got scared away by knee jerk reactions and the sky is fallen while every player sucks. "fans" have been complaining for years as the Rangers have gone to ECFs. As a Ranger fan it kind of sucks as other boards do not have the level of negativity as the Rangers board and especially when they are going far in the playoffs.

As for the value of the trade Rangers dont do this. Boeser is a UFA and his ask is going to be more than what Kreids makes. He has 1 season scoring 40 and the year prior he had 18. You have to go back 7 years to find another year he came close to 30. Consistency hasn't been his strong suit. Oh and he is actually only on pace for 30.5 goals for the year and not the 35/40 you think he is. Kreider has been a much better goal scorer the last few years and unfortunately isn't fully healthy this year. He is also probably the best net front player in the game and a really good PK player. Zero interest in Hoglander and the Rangers do not have room for him even without Kakko. Berard has looked great so far.

Is this serious
hahahahhahahhahahahhahahaahhahahhahhahhahahhaha

you would be fired immediately if this was offered and you passed it up?

What is the value of Lindgren? late 1st maybe? VS 1st line goal scorer 27yrs old nothing on the market this summer?. Lindgren is not coming free either as a UFA .....Not close

Miller is still a beast and is still positive value on his contract and an elite C in the league. Zibanejad is already bleeding value on his. That's the reality. That is a massive gulf. One is GREEN and the heartbeat of their team the other is RED and a dash 19 when the team is in the later stages of their window. Very disappointing and the Canucks are not throwing a life line even if Zibs is better than he has been .

Kreider has 3 ESPts is 33 and has 3 years at 6.5. He's one of the worst contracts in the NHL. Should take multiple 1sts to get rid of that at full value. Hoglander is a young player in a funk who might be a bad contract but like Kakko could garner value in a package for a fresh start. It is nothing as catastrophic as 6.5 anchored on the books for a PP net presence that is now a 4th liner and turning 34. Turning a small value bleed into a massive one would be idiotic

Good god man if anything just get rid of the contracts and then if you flipped the Canucks 2 of the 3 top line effective players you would be drowning in assets and cap space. Really really bad break down of the players at their current status.

This would absolutely demolish the Canucks in one stroke. I wouldn't be calling out others for being unreasonable and then posting this.

As long as it’s not for a rental that’s fine.
Either EP or Miller should be able to bring back a top 4 guy with term (along with some extras), I would think.

Said it heading into the summer last year, Nucks need at least one more guy. Hughes is elite and can carry a pairing if his partner is like, mildly competent, but the 2nd and 3rd pairings need bodies.

Went into the season with a trash defense unit besides Hughes. Hopefully no panic moves but wouldn't be surprised

Since there are rumours that Vancouver wants Kreider, I would like to see something like this:

Zibanejad, Kreider, Lindgren, pick
For
JT Miller, Boeser, Hoglander

There will likely have to be some cap retained by NYR here. But I think this trade may help both teams.

NYR would end up with a nice lineup :
Panarin - Trocheck - Lafrenierre
Cuylle - Miller - Boeser
Berard - Chytil - R.Smith
Edstrom - Carrick - Vesey

Miller - Fox
Jones - Schneider
Vaakainen - Borgen

Vancouver may have good lineup too:
Debrusk - Pettersson - Garland
Kreider - Zibanejad - Lekkerimaki
Joshua - Suter - Sherwood
Heinen - Blueger - Di Giuseppe

Hughes - Myers
Lindgren - Hronek
Soucy - Juulsen
Forbort
Amazing trade for the Rangers.

A very very very Not amazing trade for Vancouver.
