I know it’s been done a million times over but first for me.

Logically, Miller is not resigning. Has 2 years left including this one. American guy, has appeared very frustrated at times. Called out management during covid.

Canucks are desperate for Right d men.

Brock Boeser, just hasn’t turned into that scoring star that he looked like so early on.

Miller and Boeser to a playoff contender for picks, prospects and a right d man with star potential.

I think the Rangers are logical, they have some young right hand d studs and a deep prospect pool.
Thoughts?

My first phone call would be to Columbus...

They have the cap space to take on Miller (Ohio native) and Boeser

It's doubtful, but maybe they'd be willing to part with Sillinger

i think you will get picks but I dont know if anyone will pay up with the good prospects you would be looking for due to Boesers QO, the fact that he will be looking for a raise and from what I remember he was a little bit of a difficult negotiation.

Both players should return 1sts+ but I dont see someone giving up that prospect unless they sub in that prospect for a first.

I'd be interested in either Miller or Boeser for Boston.

I'd put Studnicka on the table, widely regarded as our best prospect. Not sure what the add would be. I don't really want to part with our 1st, but you gotta give to get.

Not so sure about moving Boeser but this season is looking like a write off and if that’s the case come the new year we should be looking at trading Miller and Horvat and doing a retooling. Benning and Green should be fired, since the team looks like it’s in needing of a retooling that’s Bennings fault for not building it right after how many years now? Nearly a decade?

If we’re moving Miller or Boeser we’d need a top 4 dman back in return. RHD at that. Carlo would need to be included

The obvious choice is to can management, then replace the coaching staff. Knee-jerk roster moves would do nothing at this point, except re-arrange deck chairs on the Titanic. Trading away a few players that are snakebitten and low on confidence, isn't going to suddenly make the entire team start paying attention to defense. The problem starts at the top.

Question is: how do you fire management when you have no President. Is Aquillini going to be the GM?

Could see Detroit having some interest in Miller with another year left.

Would both Wings 2022 2nd's + one of their D prospects not named Edvinsson work for Canuck fans?

I could see the Devils wanting Boeser . No , Jack isn’t available in return .
Devils can take on cap plus have prospects , however none at RHD of any real value .
Foote Boqvist Sharagovich possibly Bratt plus picks or LHD Bahl Okhotiuk.

I'd rather run this roster into the ground, like Major Kong (pictured) rather than accept these offers.

I’d trade Horvat before either of these two. People so quickly forget how good Boeser was last season (our best player last season) and how good JT Miller has been since coming to Vancouver (our best player over that stretch).

But at the same time, I do think Miller will have to be traded next season as I don’t see him re-signing here. It’s too bad this team has been so pathetic he deserves better. The guy is a warrior and one of the only players who looks like he cares at the moment.

Nucks would have to see if Klingberg would resign before trying to dangle Boeser in a straight hockey trade.

Maybe an expanded deal where Myers and Boeser go for Klingberg and another comparable F to Myers - Faksa

Miller - Petey - Garland
Pearson - Horvat - Hoglander
Dickinson - Faksa - Podz
Motte - Sutter - ?
Hughes - Klingberg
OEL - Poolman
Rathbone - Hamonic
