The jets looks absolutely atrocious defensively. How many breakaways did we have? 6?

haha, no way we had 6... Vrbata had 1 clear cut and Bo Horvat had a semi-breakaway. If your talking about odd man rushes i think we might have had 4 or 5.

I agree, the Jets D looked weak.

Jets could have had 8 goals today sure, but so should have the canucks.

They hit 4 posts, and HUGE clear posts, not barely

Rest Lack against L.A.? Not a chance. What happens if we lose that game, he's gonna have to start the one after. I don't know why Markstrom wasn't the starter against Chicago.

Yeah but the thing is, the way I see it we could easily lose the game WITH Lack, given the way he's playing. If we thought the Jets were too tough for the Canucks to handle, we've got another thing coming with the Kings.

I'd rather start Markstrom against L.A. and let Lack take care of the last few games.

I actually feel sorry for the 'Nucks d-men right now....you can tell, they don't have a clue where to put the puck....totally freelancing in their own zone right now.....team seems to have absolutely zero systems play...unfortunately too late now to rebuild that part of their game...needs to start in training camp and by this point in the season has to be second nature...Jets could have had 12 goals today.....they can't get Travis Green up here fast enough imo.

I think if he wins the Calder this year it's a certainty Willie is jettison'd, no matter how loud people are about that not happening.

Lack had a bad game, the team played decently, the Sedin-Burrows line was great.

If only lack didn't let in that softee on Scheifele or if Higgins burys that one with 1 min left... So many what ifs but still was a close game, glad to see the Sedins back on the score sheet.

So if the kings lose, the magic number is 1 right?

Yep, this time it was Lack who killed them. Those last 2 goals were absolute back breakers. The offense did all they could to stay in the game.

Just give Lack a rest. Seriously. Not blaming it all on him before people ****ing jump on me, just saying he's letting in a lot of goals lately.
The last goal was a breakaway after a horrible giveaway.

Kenins or kassian sit the next one after that.

Defensive game needs serious work. That's 5 of the last 6 games where they've allowed 35+ shots against in regulation.

"The farm coach won the Calder, time to fire the man in charge up here"

I just...go ahead and stew in that for a moment.

Jets have 12 loser points, Kings have 14.

We have 5.

This race shouldn't even be close right now.

It's not like Vancouver hasn't won its fair share of tossup games. If they had LA's record in 1 goal games they've be down with Dallas and Colorado in the standings.

Yeah the first 3 goals was because of ****** defense. But Lack can't let those softies on the 4th and 5th goal, that was atrocious goal tending.

4th goal I didnt like. The 5th goal is a pickem chance.

Our bottom 6 got shredded tonight.

Can you imagine the canucks beating the kings to clinch AND kill the playoffs in 1 game.

That would be murder
