Tanev played but edler didn't. Still, looking at the shot count (take it for what its worth, i didnt watch the game) 2 of the 3 games against teams above in the standings during the streak, the nucks were outshot by 10+, goaltending is making up for the difference rn.

I would say part of that is score effects. The team actually had the lead for a good part of both of those games, which they haven't for large chunks of the season. In the past the team was coming from behind and still getting outshot. This has been in part from trying to hang on to leads

We've been playing much better since that game against the flames. I think that was a huge wakeup moment for them the way the flames walked all over them.

No, we are definitely not for real. this is a very bright lipstick that we are painting on a pig. The silver lining is that we are being led by 2 of our future top 6 on this mini run, and it seems Baertschi is a solid top 6 and Horvat is for real. Our D is also a bright spot. i'm sorry but we're not rebuilding. we either trade away draft picks or trade higher ones for lower ones (for example, we have a whopping 5 draft picks for the next draft), we let expiring contracts walk for free, and we buy at the deadline.
