You can't pin the loss on Luongo. Our team didn't play well in the 2nd period, and played very bad in the 3rd. Defensively we were extremely erratic. One bad goal doesn't mean he should be blamed.
What would you be saying if Schneider was in and the exact same game?
Is he 100% at fault? Of course not. But he should take as much or more blame than anybody else on the team. Taylor outplayed him by a wide margin.

AV is not getting fired people, he's a good coach and he stood up for his players.
To hell with the ref that gave him a bench minor which led to the 3-2 goal.

Refs were awful. Flames got better as the game went on, give them credit. Missed Bieksa's truculence.

Luongo gave up 1 bad goal. It happens. Calgary had a rookie goalie in net and the lacklustre performance put in by our offense didn't capitalize on it. Through 15 minutes in the 3rd period we had something like 3 shots on goal.

Cool, new plan. Fall out of playoffs, watch AV continue to ruin this team. Gillis will do nothing.
Offseason both get fired and Canucks go from a team that should have been contenders to a rebuild.
bTime to scratch Kassian. AV needs a new scapegoat. Ballard didn't work out.
The great Cam Barker will win the Norris and pull us through this slump!

I wouldn't say it's on Luongo. He got outdueled by a 4th string goalie, but the loss wasn't on him. It's this team's lack of finish that cost them. Oh, and AV's bench minor was the cherry on top.
yep MG confirm that people are too hard on certain player/staff so shows confidence in the coach
You guys are nuts...back to back game where we came in 2 hours before the game. Calgary was gifted this one.

This team needs a roster shake up, get some actual skilled top 6 players instead of these tweeners like Booth, Higgins, etc.

How many quality chances did we have on him that game? 3? maybe 4? and we scored twice when we got the good chances.
Our whole team was bad that game, Luongo was as well but you can't blame him on the loss.
