Well, Zucc went 7 games without a point, I can understand some reaction. But those who called him a useless piece of junk, have little or no hockey and player knowledge.
I think Zucc just needed new linemates who fit his game better and we now see the result
Do you guys remember 2011-12 where we went 3-4-3 in the first 10 games and then won 7 in a row? It's too early to say anything, but I'm just saying

Oddly I thought this was actually a mediocre performance compared to recent efforts despite putting 5 on the board. Caught some bounces.
Definitely nice to pick up 2 more points. Next week has some big tests.

Good to see Stepan get off the schneid and Hagelin adds a much needed spark to this team. Lundqvist looks like his old self again.
I'm eager to see how this team looks against better competition, Carolina's defense is terribad and Peters was not much better. Next week's games against Anaheim and Pitt are good tests as to whether they can keep up with some of the league's top teams.
I was at the game, and while the renovations looks beautiful, it feels like the Garden loses a little charisma each year. The crowd cheers just as loud for the T-Shirt Toss as they do for goals. And Pitbull should NEVER be played at any hockey game.

Wasn't the prettiest game defensively, but I'm glad they pulled out the W. Offense looked solid all game.
