Damn Stralman, Hank should've had his second straight shutout!

Finally Stepan scores, Hagelin still looking good. That Zucc-Stepan-Kreider line is so money. Hank looked like Hank tonight.

Where does Cally slot in when he's back? Maybe make the second line Hags-Richards-Cally and then third line Pouliot-Brassard-Miller

Back in the swing of things! King Hank keeping the team alive when we needed it the most.

This win is largely on him

Still have trust issues with this team. However they have beaten some decent teams like LA and DET as well as the mediocre teams like WASH and NYI.

I want to see them compete well against ANA and PITT.

Very important that we compete start to finish against both teams results be damned.

What the heck has Zucc's mom been feeding him, a Norwegian secret? She deserves a medal.

That line has confidence, and I think the speed is causing the opposition to be in the position of having to respond fast, and they are not always doing it well. Moving fast is so important in this league.

Hell yeah. Given up two goals or less six games in a row.

The scoring chances aren't even that great. Two brain farts in Montreal and Staal's gaffe on Clutterbucks goal are the only blemishes.

Del Zotto has played his best hockey of late. Little things, like chipping pucks and making the right reads.

I want to see how they do with the ducks and pens.

That line... again..

Question is what happens when Callly (Nash) is ready to go.
As of right now it seems like it would be a huge mistake to even consider breaking up that line.
Awesome game, Hags were on fire

We had no business losing this game. Carolina going with Peters and with their usual mediocre defense corps. No Skinner as well.

That being said I'm glad we finally got past scoring 3 goals and I'm happy that Stepan put some pucks in the net. Hagelin as well but the way he's been playing there was no monkey on his back.

Kreider-Stepan-Zuccarello look like a really good line the past 3 games. Kreiders up to a point a game. We need guys to step up with Nash and Callahan out. Hopefully Callahan's back soon. We'll be a much better team when that happens.

Anaheim's a good test but the Rangers should be fired up for that one after what happened out on the west coast.

Hank was great, nice to see him back in his groove.

Nice for Stepan to get a hat-trick, but I think Hagelin and Zuccarello were our top skaters today. Between them they create basically every high-quality scoring chance the Rangers have lately.

It's nice to see Zucc back to his old self after the scratch, he was terrible to start the season. This is the Zucc I was expecting to see and who I wanted in the top 6 even with a healthy roster.

Miller will get sent down when Callahan is back. Which I dislike because even though he's not 100% NHL ready, he's still better than Pyatt. You also will lose some speed by keeping Pyatt and sending Miller down.

Maybe Pyatt is finally gone if/when Nash returns.

My guess:

Kreider--Stepan--Zuccarello
Hagelin--Brassard--Nash
Pouliot--Richards--Callahan
Boyle--Moore--Dorsett

slow start for the whole team, but good job by the coaching staff to get them going, obviously the Hagelin goal really helped, but i'll credit the coaching staff. I remember games last year that started that way and never seemed to get it together or wakeup. I was happy to see a great turnaround by the Rangers tonight!

Rest up tomorrow, need to keep this rolling, going to be a hard game on Monday against Anaheim!

Guys realize Stepan is 3-7-10 in 13 games right? He hasn't been Powe or anything.

Healthy Rangers:

Hagelin-Richards-Nash
Kredier-Stepan-Zuccarello
Pouliot-Brassard-Callahan
Boyle-D. Moore-Dorsett

I said it before the season, and I'll say it now: We have a very good, deep group of forwards when healthy. An abnormally low Sh% has had everyone panicking, but the Rangers have been playing very good hockey since returning from the West despite the injuries.

Kreider and Zuccarello need to be a pair of wingers that are glued together. Obviously I love them with Stepan, but they need to always be on the same line. Kreider's speed opens up space for Zucc and with his vision and passing ability that space is all he needs to make some nice plays.

Was at the game. Sat in the chase bridge seats! Those seats are amazing.

Anyway- good win. Honesty helped tremendously by horrific goal tending by Peters from Carolina. Rangers definately the better team and with these lines we can certainly carry some of these lesser skilled players we still have like Pyatt. It's amazing what Hagelin can do to help put the pieces in the correct places.

I agree. Those 3 should stay together when cally comes back. cally can play on either the ist line with hagelin or the 3rd with brassard.
