GDT: Canes at Panthers 2/27/21

I really do think that Bean and Fleury are great examples for the rest of our AHL prospects in showing that patience can pay off and can make you a better NHL player. Both were first rounders but were developed slowly. Same with Lorentz, except obviously a far longer-shot as a 7th rounder.

Was just thinking the same thing. We won but I'm still angry and disgusted at giving up 2-0 & 3-2 leads on weak goals. Svech and Aho are no-shows lately

Svech at least looks like he's getting the good chances, the shots just aren't going through despite the quality shots.

Aho looks like he's lost without Turbo at least in the O-zone, though he had a good look tonight.

We've come a long way since PK was being sued by his sons.

Missed the last half of the game but was tracking the score. Absolutely unreal how quick things can go to doodoo for us, but we got the much needed 2 points the hard and gut-wrenching way. Glad to see Bean get his first. FFS this should have been a regulation win though...

It doesn't matter how you get the two points, just get them vs. the teams that you should get them from (Tampa doesn't count because they're Tampa) and getting a playoff spot shouldn't be super-hard.

It doesn't matter how you get the two points, just get them vs. the teams that you should get them from (Tampa doesn't count because they're Tampa) and getting a playoff spot shouldn't be super-hard.

I agree wholeheartedly. I’m relieved right now but these types of games add up to take years off our lives.

Should have been a shutout frankly, but shit happens when the refs are calling the score instead of giving us a powerplay when up 2-0 when McLovin got hauled down.

I just know someone on Reddit payed him to say Go Canes. From there I thought maybe he was paying attention, I believe I remember someone saying he now follows them on social media.

You're not wrong about that, though for me this has nothing to do with the Tampa series and everything to do with just not having faith in Reimer right now. I can't fault him on the 3rd goal at all, I don't care if it's Hasek in net nobody's stopping that. But the second one should have never happened.
