I only got to watch the first period last night, finished up watching the rest this morning.

That was an absolute shutdown performance by the Hurricanes. Great division win with Aho out.

I can’t wait for this team to play the Devils on the 20th, hopefully Aho is back by then. These next five games leading up to the Devils aren’t a cakewalk. We’re likely going to see some really good games in the next few weeks. Exciting!

He wasn’t in a playoffs 10 years ago when with Anaheim. He did give up 6 in 2018. He gave up 3 in 2019 and had a .900 sv %. He had a .925% the game before in game 6, giving up 3 while being shelled.

Andersen had bad games in the playoffs but there are other games where Andersen played great. Andersen still lost those games cuz Boston, Washington, and Columbus just railroaded the Toronto skaters all game.

Tonight was certainly a throwback to the Fisherman era on and off the ice. Only difference was a full house in a new arena and not 6k in a dilapidated arena.

What was it like seeing a game there?

I was only able to listen to the game, not see it. So how did Lajoie look? Didn't really notice him on the radio broadcast, which seems like a good thing for a 3rd pair call up.

I don't recall him playing that many minutes, he was the 7th D man... Not noticeable much at all except for one play I remember he jumped up and had a decent chance

edit: Just checked, he had 5 minutes, 2 hits, a giveaway and no other stats

If you mean UBS it's great with no bad seat in the house but ridiculously expensive and overpriced concessions. If you mean Fishstick Era Coliseum it was just about the most depressing pro sports experience imaginable.
