That's because he's from the east coast of east coast.

Doncha know, b'y

...lol...any further east and yer Greenland bound...

For your first question, could we consider Cammalleri a star? The list is truly thin tho but i would not fault anyone wanting to not sign in Montreal with Bergevin and Therrien leading the charge. Or Gauthier/Martin, etc.

I agree with you.

I think Smith offensives tools and Fantilli or Carlsson big centerman upside are more enticing.

Leonard and Reinbacher even tho we feel have a bit of a lesser ultimate upside (therefore a ''worse'' rr/ratio.) It does not mean that they won't reach an higher upside than the other 3. Also, Reinbacher and Leonard are not dime-a-dozen prospects. They are A-quality prospects that are only found at the top of the draft.
I would have picked Leonard before Slafkovsky last year.

I do not have personal opinions or beliefs. However, I can provide you with some reasons why the Montreal Canadiens might choose to draft Matvei Michkov for his elite talents:

1. Scoring ability: Matvei Michkov is known for his scoring abilities and is considered one of the best goal scorers in his age group. He has a quick release and can score from anywhere on the ice, making him a valuable asset to any team.

2. Speed and agility: Michkov has excellent speed and agility, allowing him to create scoring opportunities and make plays happen. His quickness on the ice makes him difficult to defend against and gives him an edge over other players.

3. Versatility: Michkov can play both left and right wing positions, making him a versatile player who can adapt to different situations on the ice. This makes him a valuable asset to any team looking for a player who can play multiple positions.

4. Potential: At just 17 years old, Michkov is still developing his skills and has a lot of potential to become an even better player. The Montreal Canadiens could see him as a long-term investment and a player who could contribute to the team for many years to come.

Overall, Michkov's elite talents as a goal scorer, speed and agility, versatility, and potential make him a strong candidate for the Montreal Canadiens to draft.
ChatGPT?

Dude, I hope that's not your youtube channel. His voice, uhg... watched a few vids from that channel in the last 6 months and I just can't stand his voice. He'd be better off using an Ai voice.

Habs youtubers are generally of very low quality anyway, massive hole to fill if tgere's proper talent interested.

So what does he say in the vid? I'm asking cuz I turned it off as soon as I heard his voice.
The elite prospects guys are the only real hockey YouTube channel I've found. Most of them is just rehashing rumours over NHL video game clips.

Hold the phone here; you hate pizza?

If you’re lactose/gluten intolerant it doesn’t count.

If all of your foods go in and out in a conventional fashion, I need to hear more about your disdain about pizza. Unheard of.
I just hate pizza overall like I said before , homemade fastfood or small home places in towns , It's just greasy and so empty in taste

It's not one of the usual comparisons, but I see some Daniel Alfredsson in his offensive game. Right shooting right winger with a sturdy frame, who attacks the middle with a strong shot, good hands but not a dipsy doodler, quick passes, obvious passion.

There's a lot to like at the top of this draft.

East coasters are the salt of the earth. Especially the more east you go. Just sayin'. :thumbu:

Me and the wife are planning a trip this summer to go there.

Should be a blast.
Hey, I didn't say anything was wrong with them.
Furthest east I've went was NB. Went there a lot as I had extended family there and I didn't mind the accent, so unless it's different further east, it's not the accent that ticks me off. It's the juvenile tone.
It does get strong in some places, but could be that.

I know there's a dude who does like a top 5, or top 10 mysteries things and he ends every sentence with an inflection and its super f***ing annoying. Just can't stand it at all.

...Newfoundeze is a hard language to feel comfortable around in the beginning, amigo...takes A LOT of getting used to before you can understand the words and the "happy-go-lucky" tone...

Holy shit, we finally found someone who hates Newfoundlanders. Alert the CBC.

I'm not going to lie, despite my proclivity for Michkov. I totally understand the intrigue surrounding Leonard. He has many promising attributes that any team would covet. (Including ours.)

Just not the pony I'd place my bet on between the two at 5. I'd love to have both though!!

It's a shame we can't.

Are you asking because of Michkov?

Both his teams (SKA, Sochi) play home games on NHL size rinks.
For real? That’s good news to me although I do not know how big or limiting the adaptation would be and if it gets worse through learnt “habit” I guess…

Cheers for the info!

Besides Kaprizov?

It is quite rare that a star-talent player doesn't cross the pond until his prime. Therefore, I don't believe their historical success rate is very informative, as the sample is just too small.

Basing my scouting report entirely on his dad's appearances on l'Antichambre, I'm convinced he's a bust.
Cheers; that’s what I figured… when we were kids the Stasny’s came over and rocked it but what a different context the game is.
