I don’t get to watch a lot of Rangers games. But Skjei was brutal tonight. I see some complaining about the defence and totally agree Pionk was garbage too but I thought Skjei was the worst player on the ice for both teams and that’s saying something. DeAngelo was also pretty invisible.

Good game to watch, great result despite my hatred of that team. (goes back a long, long way).
Hayek 17+ minutes? Wow, didn't really see that coming. Didn't focus on his every move......but he made some nice heads up plays, and was inconspicuous otherwise.......a good thing. Even Hank agreed with me. Hank would know better than anyone here, thats for sure. Don't think he would go put of his way to "soup up" a player.......he tells it like it is, always has for the most part, yet falls short of throwing someone under the bus.
Smith looks better as a forward, than a defenseman.
Or.....is it that he is a good defensive forward?
Opposed to a bad offensive defenseman? Which is it? Lol.
Tony D's streak ended.....thats okay, I am sure he will start a new one.......or, rip someone a new one. Which is it? Lol.
I am becoming quite the writer. Or is it that blueshirt banter, doesn't have that much quality in their writing? Which is it?
Difference in tonights game? Carey Price had something to play for. Hank had only his pride, his teammates and an overmatched team to play for and with?

Both teams were missing David Desharnais or Brandon Prust. Or, were they both missing Guy LaFleur? Which player did they miss the most?
Both teams have a bright future. One as a one and done, and will NOT make the PO's next year. The other will NOT make the PO's this year and next.......but the future looks brighter than the other team. Which team is which?
Which team has a fan base that is obnoxious and NOT genuinely surprised by their success this season?
And, which team has a fan base that is KNOWN for being obnoxious (but, really is misunderstood) but in reality, (in which the other team's fan base.....clearly isn't) they actually KNOW what they are talking about......and is equally...... genuinely surprised by their teams success, but NOT really "falling victim" and lying to themselves about their temporary success and heeding towards the "long distance rewards" of giving a little NOW, and TAKING a lot LATER? Where as the "other team" is taking a lot NOW and not having enough later........Which team is which?

Earlier (while the game was on) my girlfriend Carolyn reminded me to take my nightly medicine. (Surprise, surprise) Actually, sometimes I forget. (Surprise, surprise).
She offered to freshen up my alcoholic beverage (surprise, surprise) I replied, well thank you. Vodka, cranberry/grape juice and some ginger ale (to give it that fizzle). No surprise there.....love it when I occasionally am served. (As long as it isn't by a lawyer, IRS or otherwise)
Follow along here.......she used to be a (waitress/dancer) so, I responded with; "thanks hun, I'll give you a big tip later".
She responded with; "No thanks hun, I'm good".
Then I reluctantly responded, (with yet absolutely NO REMORSE)..............yeah, no crap......obviously you would rather have a "little kitty kat", than a "big tip".
Some times it sucks to be me. Then again, pretty sure......there are many men, that would LOVE to have MY problem. (Not joking, now)

I was probably one of the VERY FIRST to claim that......for me it was inevitable. Wanting desperately.................and in need of replacing Zuccha, and honestly.....if that had ANYTHING to do with the decision in bringing Lemieux here.......was a complete, well thought out..........mark of a GENIUS!
No one will EVER replace Zuccha, best u can do is bring someone in that is somewhat similar. New Yawkers LOVE that physicality......shows you care and are "bringing it" blue collar style! Good choice in Lemieux. Really good choice, evem if he never scores another goal. You can ONLY bring the player in......and now, it is ul to him and how much success he has.
