Not sure why Les Canadiens signed Hutson I thought he should play 1 more year at Boston U...he's awfully small though he can skate and has moves but...I'm sure Luke Tuch is already signed, but they'll give him his own day. He would get virtually no press with Lane Hutson being signed at the same time.

OMG, NCAA players have all of the leverage here. Did you want a Cutter Gauthier v. 2.0 here? I hope not.Not sure why Les Canadiens signed Hutson I thought he should play 1 more year at Boston U...he's awfully small though he can skate and has moves but...
He plays one more year and you risk an Adam Fox scenarioAn opinion shared by many but the decision makers think otherwise
It’s standard to sign and burn off a year. Not sure why Les Canadiens signed Hutson I thought he should play 1 more year at Boston U...he's awfully small though he can skate and has moves but...
If Hutson says I am ready and want to sign and you balk and say...nope...play one more year at BU...You have lost him.He plays one more year and you risk an Adam Fox scenario
another year in college wont change the fact that he is small. Not sure why Les Canadiens signed Hutson I thought he should play 1 more year at Boston U...he's awfully small though he can skate and has moves but...
Because of the NCAA status; LH held all the cards regarding the timing of his contract. One more year and he could just wait it out for one more and dictate where he wanted to go ala Fox under the threat of not signing with the Habs. Not sure why Les Canadiens signed Hutson I thought he should play 1 more year at Boston U...he's awfully small though he can skate and has moves but...
I more year to get stronger and more Mature physically, mentally, emotionallyanother year in college wont change the fact that he is small.
1 more year to toy with the opposition? He’s not going to learn anything there.I more year to get stronger and more Mature physically, mentally, emotionally
The first triple digit in the NHL: 222. Arial narrow font.Either Slaf of Caufield cough up the juice. That’s it
You beat me to it.#222
But if you made him do that, he's probably never going to sign here. WTF does that accomplish? Nothing good.I more year to get stronger and more Mature physically, mentally, emotionally
Meh, he is dominating the NCAA. Its time for the next level. No one is saying top pairing minutes in the NHL but its time to boost the opposition for his development.I more year to get stronger and more Mature physically, mentally, emotionally
Regardless of their feelings about Lane being NHL ready soon, there is a very legitimate risk of losing him if we wait another year to sign him, so no actual decision was made there (see Gauthier, Cutter). Not sure why Les Canadiens signed Hutson I thought he should play 1 more year at Boston U...he's awfully small though he can skate and has moves but...
If they did it with Sean Ferrell, they sure as hell had to it with Hutson.Regardless of their feelings about Lane being NHL ready soon, there is a very legitimate risk of losing him if we wait another year to sign him, so no actual decision was made there (see Gauthier, Cutter).
KIA. He's only getting paid for 3 days, current budget is less than 15K.
He got the 100k signing bonus, that’s pretty sweet.KIA. He's only getting paid for 3 days, current budget is less than 15K.
In honor of JJD.
Until Hutson prove he can handle the minutes and the NHL play, it is premature. Should he do that next season, then you can re-asses.
