What has to happen for Anton Stralman to get on the PP? No one on this team take one timers on the PP except for him. He's the only one.

Gaborik played like a ****ing idiot. It looked like he was on roller skates out there. Richards sucked mega weiner. Miller-Boyle-Pyatt line was probably the second least effective line. This first being whoever Richards was playing with.

Miller should be sent back to the AHL but I'm pretty sure that's no longer an option.

Pitiful performance all around.
 
i don't think stralman should have attacked the puck carrier on the second goal. should have forced him to beat hank on a not so great angle. rangers had like 6 open nets that we didn't bury. we didn't deserve to win this game at all.

100% correct. Him and Hagelin were the best players on the ice tonight.
 
Boys looked very lifeless and played with a very low battle level. The played a tired team, not only in the standard team on 2nd night ofback to backs, but Montreal looked like **** and like they had no legs. That's when you need to come out flying, instead the Rangers came out and played down to the Habs' low energy level. Shameful really.

Then came a tremendous amount of bad luck and fanned shots for the Rangers and they couldn't get one more to go.

It just wasn't their night really. What is irritating is that with Nash out it kind of seemed like everyone was playing slow, waiting for the big man to make a great rush and open up the game and create some chances. Without him in, someone needed to step up and do that, but alas, nobody did.

Again, terrible, terrible bounces for the Rangers. If the puck was bouncing their way, Boyle could've scored, Hags could've scored and Stepan could've scored all in the third period. However, bad bounces doesnt make up for what looked like a terrible effort.

I thought CK was playing a relatively solid game.

I suppose the bench required his assistance more than the ice did....

well the pile of crap is still one of our leading scorers...............I do think if he doesnt perform to standards after next yr then yea the Rangers are the type of team that could eat the salary..............with that said I doubt he plays that bad

I don't think Hank needed to make one good save in this game. Maybe the shoulder save on Subban. How is he a star? Are you Swedish?
 
Get Tortorella off this team. He already has his cup, get somebody in here who is actually HUNGRY. Someone who can utilize the team's talents...not some clown who collects Americans by the boatload to see them grind, and dump away. Tort's system- Throw out the talented Europeans, and insert grinding Americans/Canadians who play a dumb it down type of hockey. This game was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I am SICK AND TIRED of saying the same things over and over again. No adjustments whatsoever during the game. Just a blank stare from our head coach and empty, mindless pats on the back of people who aren't deserving of ice-time. Such a frustrating team, with the biggest clown of a tactician in John "Powerplay specialist turned dump it in specialist" Tortorella. Sorry but this isn't the first or the last game we will lose like this. We lack the fire, drive, emotion to compete. Look at Ottawa....look at us...Scary, scary difference In PAYROLL. AND RESULTS.

We completely played into The Hab's game plan. This is on Torts 100%. When you're playing a team playing their 3rd game in 4 nights, you come out like lions not mice. Oh, and Richards, well what more is there to say!!!!

If Richards keeps playing like this, he definitely deserves a buyout. If not that, then either strip him of the A and give it to a guy who actually deserves it or trade him. I don't know how Torts is putting up with him.

Boyle played well, I thought. But I hate that Tort's ****ed with the lineup after going 3-0 with the previous one.
 
Rangers REALLY need a hard booming shot from one of their Point men on the PP.

You can't have Del Z, Richards on the same PP unit. They both are passing QB's. Neither one is a shooter. Rangers need to bring in a Dman who can shoot from the points. Just to keep PK units honest.
