I wanted to bring attention to this interview of this perspicacious young man:

Were he covering a team like the Maple Leafs or the Canadiens, he'd have 50x the attention, no doubt

Yea I watched his videos sometimes. Definitely a better listen than something like Locked on Sharks.

I like him too. I do wish he'd ditch the 'class is now in session', but he has a pretty thoughtful perspective, and it fits the persona he created. Ultimately, it contributes to being more memorable, which likely drives subscriptions (which drives content I benefit from), so I get it. It'll be fun to watch him grow and improve.

Spot on with locked on. Feels like state sponsored media which tells me what to think. All the locked on team podcasts kind of sound the same to me (and I do mean beyond the ad scripts), so maybe that's part of it. Teal Town can be amusing occasionally, but I wouldn't seek it out. The one I don't get is the hockey guy- it's just reading lines and puckpedia information- league wide, but I haven't seen any analysis.
