Nice to see Chiarelli's vision of the small, nice Bruins is going so well. Speed and skill, who needs grit and toughness

Speed and skill is alright, if you are actually gonna go in that direction. Right now we're a team with no identity, and we don't seem to care if we win or loose. I don't think I have actually seen a player be genuinlly happy when scoring a goal this year (except Griffith's first), and I don't think I've seen anyone be angry when scored against. It's funny how we're all sitting here in our living rooms with much more emotion invested in the game than the ***** players on the ice.

Team sucks.

They are going to play themselves right out of the playoffs with this team as constituted.

Chia needs to make moves or plan for the lottery. He can't wait until the deadline-there are some tough teams coming up in the schedule and this team is going to lose if they don't do something.

Fraser is a bust.
I love Campbell but probably time to move him.
As much as I would like to see them move Kelly they can't until Krejci comes back (Kelly imo is slightly more versatile than Campbell).
Bart is probably worth a bag of pucks at this point but move him too.

Gagne is cooked.

The team's problems aren't just ChAra and Krejci being out but those two out make the holes and issues we already had more pronounced.

If only every team they played could be buffalo but that is t the case and they won't beat too teams playing like this.

Time to see what Spooner and Koko can do. At least they will bring some speed.

I hate to say this but I called the exact outcome on the original GDT #132......

Besides needing a very good goal scorer and another D ,what this team is lacking is lots of snarl and we lost too many players that brought that to this team and this isue has not been replaced.
This team is suffering an identity crisis as far as I am concerned.

Until they cannot figure out how to play against the Habs this Bruins team is not going anywhere.

Show some heart. Jesus what is going on. I would love, love love love, to be a fly on the wall in the Bruins offices right now. Im not one for knee jerks or anything, but they cannot, cannot say this team is lacking because of the absence or Chara/Krejci/Miller. There is a lot more wrong than that. This 'system' isn't working in today's NHL. We have no energy line to speak of, none.

The worst part is, the guys everyone wants to cut and trade have low value because they're playing like a steaming pile of ****. I don't know what they need to do, but they need to do something, because icing this team isn't going to just 'sort itself out' and Claude needs to look at the lines hes coming up with, Soupy centering Looch and Griff is probably the stupidest thing he has ever done. Period.

amen amen amen, you read my mind.

who is y'all? seriously. who the hell are you talking to? Because I don't know if you noticed but the vast majority of people on this board HATE the Boychuk trade and recognize that Thornton's personality is sorely missed. You're not coming in here and dropping knowledge.

The "majority" may of hated the Boychuk trade, but there is a good amount of people who were/are okay with it. And THAT is who I am talking to. And those people in general who said we'd be fine. The same people who told me Bart will be a great player this year. That we don't needs Johnny.

So, if you saw that my post didn't apply to YOU, you don't have to respond to it. Olè!

They don't have nearly enough skill, and no speed. Grit and tough can't play well enough to survive in this league.

Except he isn't going with speed and skill.

Until Spooner, Koko, maybe even Knight, etc start playing

Best players need to be the best players, not the worst players.

Bergeron, Marchand & Smith (-3 each)

Seidenberg & Hamilton (-3 each)

Top line, top D pair

All sucked

Since the start of season the goaltending has been avg at best. Rask was Sketch last yr vs habs and I don't care he won some piss pot trophy he sucked when it counted

With the smurfs
Rask would have given up 10 tonight. He gave up 4 against a AHL caliber team last night Habs actually have some skill unlike TO

Leafs are a much better team than the Habs and have the 3rd best offense in the league. Habs have 4PP goals this year, one by Sekac on a phantom hit from behind by Gagne and an EN goal in the 1st game after a bullcrap penalty by Lucic when Emelin turned his back at the last second.

Hopefully, we play them in the playoffs. But I'm not even sure they will make it...

Claude will be smart as soon as Chara and Krejci come back

However, this was a disgrace and I'm not talking about the Final score

The Big Bad Bruins looked more like the Small Soft Teddy Bears. Ouch

The Kelly experiment in a scoring C role as to end. Give that spot to Spooner or Koko. Seriously...

Agreed and shifting Kelly back to the Yetiine will make the Yeti line good again. Kelly on the first and Fraser on the third just makes both lines useless.

Hopefully when this team ends up embarrassing the **** out of themselves this gentlemanly team of veteran intangibles experiment will be over.

Every step we've taken from our old identity has hurt us. This team would never come back from 4-1 when it mattered, never would have pulled it together down 2 games in a series and losing their best forward.

The heart isn't there, the character isn't there, the fire isn't there.
