Never in my life would I have imagined Canada would have the best attacking talent in the region, but here we are. Just waves of skill coming.

What's Kone's best position? Where do you see him fitting in on our national team. I don't know enough about this kid.
He kind of gives me some Osorio vibes in terms of where he plays. He is a B2B/Attacking midfielder; Spreads the ball well, progressed the ball with dribbles, provides late runs into the final third, and can chip in with some goals.

Kone's more technically gifted and I think his ceiling will eclipse that Oso's peak but there may be some similarities there.

Just Piette left out...assuming some sort of injury. Corbeanu seems to be on the outside looking in and i'm sure we will see another push for Jebbison and Flores later this year.

Great to see more fresh blood in Kone...

I'd say that Kone is a poor man's Camavinga. Similar styles. Lanky athletic guys with good ball skills and very good vision. Can play B2B or a little more forward too.

Adekugbe and Henry suspended for Costa Rica... Laryea hasn't played much in 2022 but i still think he gets the nod as Gutierrez is the only other option there unless we make shift someone.

Tomorrow is going to be fun. Win and we're in. OR if Panama loses to or draws with Honduras. OR if the US loses to Mexico.

Haven't been this nervous and excited for a sporting fixture since the Canucks 2011 Finals run. Can't believe we're this close, and as great as it would be clinching on home soil, hope we get the job done tommorow and make a statement. Run the f***ing table and get these wins. Canada in a world Cup for the first time in my life man, it's so close.

I haven't been able to watch it yet but Kristian Jack spoke with Alphonso Davies on his latest episode of his podcast.
