GDT: Canada vs Suomi @3pm PT/ 6pm ET/ 1am EEST

Stankoven has disappointed - I expected some big numbers.

Just hasn't looked like himself in this tournament at all. Not carrying the puck as much as he normally would, not shooting as much, etc. Just defers to Johnson instead of trying things himself most of the time. Have yet to see Stankoven play his way he normally does. Just way too passive

Canada better be more disciplined going forward. I can't imagine the result if they are this undisciplined when facing the US

He just needs a little puck luck... hopefully.

Canada was clearly the better team.

Didn‘t like the penalty trouble at the end of the game, that was ridiculous.

6-3 win is a good win considering Canada basically spent the entire 3rd period in the penalty box.

Been totally invisible so far, i;m still holding out hope though.

The 3rd period was just a tire fire for Canada. Everything that could go wrong, did - including a goal that should not have counted.

Oh well... It is for the best.

Well said.

Oh come on, quit with your wimpy whining. Canada was in general better than Finland. In practically everything. Finland did show some glimpses though. But it wasn’t enough against the speed and physicality that Canada had. Finland wasn’t really bad, but Canada was just better.
Well said to you, too.

Canada got a lot of penalties but didn't notice any bad calls except the weird 5-2 goal - which basically wasn't a bad call either. Good PK from Canada on third after dominating the game until there. Pennanen made some horrible calls on PP,. Even when Kemell's shot has been off the whole tournament, still it remains a threat that contributes. Better team won and happy that Finland had a better third period to continue the tournament. Next time in Semis!

Useful game for Canada, some good signs but some of the same issues. The penalty killing situations should be good experience, as should dealing (poorly) with a referee/technology error that yielded a goal. Don't like how Cameron coaches by dropping his most talented players when there is a whiff of danger in the third, gave me flashbacks to Buffalo 2011.

Awesome game by Greig.
