Yikes. I had a feeling we might end up outplayed tonight, but never did I see the first period being like this. We had absolutely nothing going on.

Dirty Canadians diving and Canadian referees whistling in their favour! But no HÄTÄ Finland just getting started victory is in sight

This canadian d is giving them nothing.

Byram and drysdale really showing why theyre considered the 2 best d prospects in hockey by a wide margin.
Your D is doing the minimum. Your forwards are breaking up the play of Finland so effectively that the Finns are constantly on a 1-2 or 2-3 attack where they should never get past your D.

Finnish fans saying that's not a penalty. That's a penalty all day long. Even in the NHL, never mind international.

Exceptional call, actually.
Where it shouldn't be called is when the stick is slashed and it's nowhere near the hands. Then if you can't hold onto your stick - too bad.

Im quite sure there were a few saves for Levi on that 2 shifts Finland actually had chances but for some reason were not counted as shots?

The PP is really the only concern I have with the team right now. Don't have a lot of confidence in it coming through when we need it at a big moment in the elimination round.

I'm assuming that's one of the worst periods from the Finnish team in a number of years. They're very fortunate to kept the score so tight, Canada can't let off at all.

I feel like Krebs will be a tweener in the NHL. Similar to Lazar. Intangibles type that doesn’t have the skill, size or skating.

Well, being down only 1-0 is a positive for that Finnish team , Canada was all over them all period.

They can regroup now since they got by the initial onslaught.

Yeah, that PP was a good opportunity going into the intermission.

That PK is something Finland can build on.

Canada needs to get a big body in front of the goalie on the PP.

It seems Canada used their goals previously. It's hard to believe this is the team that scores even when the period is over.

Guy goes in one on one with the goalie and is slashed in the hands from behind and it’s a weak call.

Like I said, it’s the kind of comment I’ve come to accept.
